Each person has a

Goal

My main goal is to become a minister in a LCMS church somewhere in southern America, close to where my family lives. You see, I am only thirteen, and I have a long bridge to cross, and right now I am waiting to cross the gap. I feel like I should be doing something but I can't. The thing is, we can. Prayer is one of the best things we can do at our young ages. I pray continually in my life, not as much as I could, but I pray a lot still. One thing I have to say about prayer is that you don't need to pray so continually that it takes up your life. When you pray, you always ask that God's will be done. Why? Because we don't tell God to let us win that pet show, we pray that he does what he thinks is right, and you always know the outcome is what was meant to be! This can take the worrying out of people. Children, teens, and even some adults are afraid of storms. I know I am, but there is one thing that comforts me. Knowing that if I am meant to be okay, then God will protect me, and if I am not meant to be okay, then I will be with God. Throughout my life I've had several brushes with death. A tornado rushed half a mile from my home, ripping up a farm shed and a bunch of trees, but it never hurt anyone. I was riding with my brother once and we had a tall pole in the back of the truck, and just before it happened, he realized that the pole had almost pulled down the powerline, which would have therefore become a livewire and killed us all. These weren't serious times, but they could have been. Millions of people have had much worse times than these. But yet some have lived. Why? Because God gave them a special purpose. He protected each survivor because he needed us.
